Biography

Vanessa Racehorse (Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, the Cherokee Nation, and the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes) joined the firm's San Diego office in 2019. She works in all areas of the firm's practice. 

Ms. Racehorse graduated from Columbia Law School in 2017, where she served as President of the Columbia Native American Law Students Association and the Bluebook Editor of the Columbia Law Review. During law school, she was also a Human Rights Internship Program Fellow at Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights in Harare, Zimbabwe, and a Summer Associate in Sonosky's DC office. Prior to joining Sonosky, she worked as a Deputy Attorney General for the Colorado River Indian Tribes.

Ms. Racehorse is licensed in California.
