Office Assistant
Our national law firm is looking for a full-time administrative Office Assistant for our Anchorage, Alaska office. The ideal candidate is motivated and eager to learn, detail-oriented and has the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and manage competing deadlines.
Office Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Works with other staff to complete billing process and send monthly invoices.
- Shares basic office tasks with other assistants, including, but not limited to, greeting visitors, answering phones, distributing mail, and managing office calendars.
- Works well with colleagues in Anchorage and other Firm offices.
- Supports the Firm’s administrative and legal team with strong organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills.
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office, maintain office supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Exhibits professional and courteous communication via phone, e-mail and mail.
- Helps prepare attorney travel vouchers, monthly expense reimbursements, credit card reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable.
Hours: Monday through Friday – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch

Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma (college degree preferred)
- 3 – 5 years of administrative experience preferred.

- Familiarity with other computer software, including time-keeping software and document management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experienced Legal Assistant
Our national law firm is looking for a full-time experienced Legal Assistant for our Anchorage, Alaska office.
Legal Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Prepares correspondence and legal documents for attorneys.
- Handles litigation filings in federal, tribal and state court.
- Has familiarity with court filing systems, court rules, calendaring of litigation deadlines, and handling of general litigation tasks.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, data entry, copying, scanning, etc., as needed.
- Shares basic office tasks with other assistants, including, but not limited to, answering phones, distributing mail, and managing office calendars.
- Works well with colleagues in Anchorage and other Firm offices.
- Supports the Firm’s administrative and legal team with strong organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills.
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
